Zvjezdan Misimovic moves to China

German newspaper Bild has revealed that Bosnian midfielder Zvjezdan Misimovic has signed for Guizhou Renhe.

The highly rated player has signed a three-year deal with the club after they agreed a €3.5 million fee with Dynamo Moscow.

Guizhou Renhe finished the previous league campaign in fourth place and were recently linked with a move for Chelsea star Frank Lampard.

Misimovic, 30, decided to accept a new challenge after what was a somewhat disappointing spell at Dynamo Moscow.

The Bosnia-Hercegovina international joined the Russian club in a €4.5 million move from Galatasaray, but failed to establish himself as a first team regular.

Misimovic has scored a total of 8 goals in 44 Russian Premier League appearances for Dynamo.

The attacking midfielder has spent much of his career in German Bundesliga, playing for Bayern Munich, Bochum, Nurnberg and Wolfsburg.

Misimovic has enjoyed a lot of success on international level, and went on to score 23 goals in 72 Bosnia-Hercegovina caps.
