Pablo Fornals could be on his way out of Villarreal and the move to a Premier League club is not unrealistic. The Spaniard has been one of the most talented players in Villarreal’s setup in recent years and now there are reports about him having potential suitors in North London – from both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
Daily Express is reporting that it was Napoli who were the first club in line interested in getting him, after they signed Fabian Ruiz from Betis last summer, but now the interest started arriving from the Premier League. Fornals has scored four goals and added five assists in 39 appearances this season for a dysfunctional Villarreal side which is still in a tough battle to stay in La Liga.
Forlans could truly flourish in a better environment and Unai Emery could hope he will become the man to build the team around, especially if Mesut Ozil is to leave the club.
